Our usual beautifully creamy soap recipe, but with added lemon essential oil, ginger essential oil, ground ginger and Poppyseeds for added exfoliation. It smells as good as it sounds! And in true Mudd Shack style, not only is the beeswax from Mersea, but the Poppyseeds were harvested from our very own poppies!

Handmade here on Mersea, our Lemon, Ginger & Poppyseed soap uses both Cold Pressed Lemon and Ginger Essential Oils along with the other raw natural ingredients to give it a fresh, zesty aroma.

These natural soap bars are creamy and moisturising, while remaining hard from the addition of beeswax, meaning they last longer. This soap also has local honey in it, which adds lather. 

Beeswax has Vitamin E in it, as well as anti-viral, anti-inflammatory and antibacterial properties, and forms a protective barrier by sealing in moisture in our skin, without smothering it, and clogging up pores. 

With an olive oil base for moisturising, coconut oil for cleansing and shea butter for added nourishment.

Wrapped simply in brown paper, they are free from plastic. But also, as with all our soaps, are free from any nasties (SLS, SLSA, Parabens, Palm Oil etc).
